Information on data protection and data security / terms and conditions – German law
The Forum Ziviler Friedensdienst e. V. (forumZFD) is subject to the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). We take technical and organisational security measures to protect your data from manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. All forumZFD employees are bound by the special confidentiality obligations outlined in Section 5 BDSG.
In principle, it is possible to use our website entirely anonymously. During your visit to our website, data will collected for security purposes, which could enable your identification (e.g. IP address, date, time and pages accessed). No person-related utilisation of data takes place. We reserve the right to complete statistical evaluations of anonymised data.
We do not collect any personal data through our website (names, addresses, telephone numbers or email addresses, etc.) unless you provide such information voluntarily (e.g. when your request information or make an online donation). Please note that data provided to order materials is transmitted unencrypted. In contrast, online donations will be encrypted using SSL technology (see below).
forumZFD collects the personal information of donors required for donation acquisition and management as well as for information about our work. Your address will be saved for the distribution of our Frieden braucht Fachleute [Peace needs Experts] magazine, for example. We also require your address to send you a donation receipt. We assure you that we will not disclose your data as part of address trading or sell or lease your data to other companies or organisations.
Our website contains programs (plug-ins) from the Facebook social network. They are operated exclusively by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (Facebook). The plug-ins used on our website are identifiable by the Facebook logo or the thumbs-up “Like” button. When you visit a page on our website containing such a plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection with the Facebook servers. Facebook will in turn transfer the plug-in contents to your browser, which will embed these in the website. Facebook will subsequently be notified that you accessed our website. If you are logged into your Facebook account when you visit our website, Facebook will be able to assign this visit to your account. If you interact with plug-ins (e.g. by clicking on the “Like” button or entering comments), the corresponding information will be transmitted directly to Facebook and stored there. If you do not want such data to be transmitted, you will need to log out of your Facebook account before you visit our website.
In case of questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data in addition to information, amendment, blocking or deletion of data, please contact:
Benedikt Kaleß, Forum Ziviler Friedensdienst e. V., Am Kölner Brett 8, 50825 Cologne, Germany
